i just solved one of the great magnolia mysteries of all time. whenever she would hear a doorbell, she would say something that sounded very much like "ding-dooong, poo-poo hands!" errr... okay. disturbing. anyway, i worked and worked trying to get her to help me figure out what she was saying. when i listened really closely i noticed that the "poo-poo" part sounded a little bit more like "boo-boo". which still made no sense. anyway, my understanding and her speech have evolved to such a point that this weekend i finally figured it out. she's saying "ding-dooong, doorbell is?" as in, "who's at the door?" whew. i feel MUCH better about her little psyche now.
