wow. this is perhaps the most irritating thing i have read in a long time. and that's saying something. i mean, honestly, people, i work for the Fed; i read annoying things all the time. this, however, is chock full of bullshit. nearly every statement is erroneous. and foolish. in case you can't stomach the whole article, the basic premise equates people who are advocates of breastfeeding with atheists. bc somehow believing in breastfeeding means that you no longer believe in God. alrighty then. gah! the more i read the more i get pissed! maybe bc his tone is so insidious. he gives a couple of reasons why "women are pressured into breastfeeding." as though we simple females have no choice in the matter and are so weak that we cave when minor pressure is applied. which is SO RIDICULOUS bc honestly, people, the pressure NOT TO BREASTFEED is SO much more intense! you cannot imagine what a battle i have had defending my choice to breastfeed and my resistance to weaning the magnolia monster the very moment she reached the arbitrary 365 mark. hmm, perhaps i should have told myself not to get myself started.
