i'm leaving the time stamp on this entry so ya'll can see how freaking early it is. that is bad news. the GOOD news is i'm on my way to san francisco, baby! and i tell ya, i can't wait until my butt hits the seat in that plane. i'll be ordering a glass of champagne, and i won't care that it's only 830. screw social mores! don't get me wrong, here, i love my kid. but mommy needs some mommy time. i'm going to sleep whenever the hell i feel like it. if i want to just sit, sit and not move once, in a chair for six hours, i can do that. i'm going to eat whatever i want without worrying about making healthy vegetarian choices for me and the whole family. if i want to eat twelve raw mad-cow patties i will! i'm going to partake of mind and mood altering substances, even if in small quantities. even small, me still likey the alteration. i'll try to come back in one piece, but i can't promise anything. mags won't even know i'm gone. she's so crazy about grandma that mommy just gets pushed aside. and today, mommy is very very happy for that. also, gears, i'll drink one in honor of you and the ski trips of the imagination. at least one.
