they took the credit for your second symphony
i could listen to that song all day and never tire of it. NEVER! the video on the other hand ...

my third-oldest nephew came for dinner last night. he's a great guy. he just moved to "the city" (don't laugh those of you who live in real metropolitan areas, but okies call OKC "the city". humorous, no?) anyway, since he lives near me, i have these visions of him and his SO coming to dinner every sunday or something like that. i just wanna be everybody's mom these days. also, i just wanna cook. i'm having a blast. i'm all addicted to 30-minute meals with rachel ray. i'm not all into rach (pronounced RAY-ch) or anything, but i like the idea of making stuffed pasta shells in only 30-minutes. i can usually keep magnolia entertained in her exer-saucer for that long. anyway, my nephew, he's a really great person. he's absolutely huge, like 6'6" or something, but as gentle as a kitten. i can sum him up to you this way, when he came to visit us in the hospital after i had mag, the nurses were in there monkeying around with me and trying to do stuff and mag was crying and i was all stressed out and strung out and i just said, "j, get her" and he did. like it was nothing. and he walked and rocked and cooed to her until she passed out so i could go about getting stitched or unstitched or whatever they were doing to me. and this is a guy in his VERY early twenties. he constantly surprises me.

okay, the other thing about that 30-minute meals show is her freaking awesome stove and fridge. holy crap. the stove is an antique, but the fridge is still in production. yeah. i want one. now. i like candy red, but i think i'd go for quicksilver, just for conservatism's sake. i mention this just in case someone wants to give me $3,000. just in case, you know.
