the lady at starbucks gave me caffeinated coffee this morning. after i expressly requested decaffeinated. twice.

my heart is racing like a virgin on prom night.

the gum-smacking lady has no gun this morning. thank buddha. she has a doughnut (donut?) though and has powdered sugar allllll over her shirt. i wonder if i should tell her.

we have doughnuts this morning cause it's DL's bday, and i went krispy kreme. that place is the devil. you walk in the door and they accost you, in the style of "the buckle," mathis brothers, or car lots, and ask, "would you like a fresh krispy kreme?" i'm thinking, i'm here to get two dozen of these mothers, it's not like i need another one. what, is it like a doughnut appetizer before i dig into my entree of doughnuts with a dessert of powdered-doughnut-pancake surprise? sheesh, no wonder america's so fat.

anyways, what with the caffeine ambush and the doughnut-y sugar rush, i am bouncing off the walls. i am tigger. hear me roar.

tomorrow night i get to see my hottie chick friends from PC. we're going for italian (my mom pronounces that eye-talian and won't listen to me when i tell her it's not right) with andreas, our (to quote beecroft) super-cool friend from church camp, eons ago. he is this really awesome greek guy (hence the great name) whose job is to be a champion for underprivileged people. and he's cute to boot. see, girls, not all the good ones are taken.

there is a sour cream cake doughnut calling me; i must away.
