spent waaaay too much money this weekend. but it was for a good cause, a surprise mattbot visit! see, mattbot likes to "surprise" people when he arrives in town. i.e. he calls you about two hours before he shows up and hopes you don't have any plans for the night. he's just lucky i'm such a loser. anyways, it was great to see you mattbot, and i'll be thinking pixar thoughts in your direction.

matt's arrival caused me a fair amount of stress because it required me to come up with "a plan" for the evening. this i'm no good at. i'm not the decisive type. neither is matt. nor is rockabilly dave, who was also involved in the festivities. basically we just sat around and waited for jerm to come home and make a plan for us. ahhhh sweet decisiveness! so we went for sushi. i LOVE me some sushi ... but that shit's expensive and two hours later you're hungry again. no wonder the japanese are so thin. after that we went a-drinking. matt mostly. heh. i woulda been right there with him, but 'member, i got the wee babe at home. i don't think she'd benefit much from a wasted mommy. so i had to reign it in. which almost made it more fun to watch matt reel it out! since we had to get home to the wee one, we missed the true excitement of the evening. apparently, there was some desperation drinking - you know, it's-after-two-a.m.-in-ok-and-we've-got-no-booze-what-can-we-drink? that led to the consumption of some airplane bottles, age unknown, of bailey's irish creme.

after that, an unauthorized trip to a swimming pool. maybe at an apartment complex. details are very very sketchy. mostly cause no one really remembers.

breakfast the next morning was very interesting. mattbot needed sustanence, eggs, potatoes, biscuits, coffee. rockabilly dave could only handle potatoes and water. it wasn't pretty.
