i'm sure i've written about ponca before, so maybe this should be entitled ponca2 or something. but it isn't.

there is just something really depressing about the wal-mart in ponca city. maybe all wal-marts are like this, but i just don't notice it as much at my own wal-mart ... but seriously, in ponca ... it's just sort of painful ... everybody just looks really unhappy and nobody smiles back at you if you smile at them.

but i had a pretty good time there overall. in ponca, that is, not at wal-mart. our family is so large, that when we get together, there's so much chaos that i don't really get to 'visit' with people very much. there is just a lot of noise and commotion, but little substance. but this time was a bit quieter, and i had more time to hang out with people. especially my next oldest sister cause i stayed at her house this time. it was nice. we just got up, had some coffee and some breakfast. very leisurely and relaxing. it still feels like time is going by really fast, though. i mean, it's hard to believe that her oldest kid is ten!! crikey.

so hmm... where is this entry going? nowhere fast. we checked in on squeeky and fu-fu's kittens while they were gone on their nudisy-colony weekend outing. they are so cute! (i'm talking about the kittens here, not the nudists.) foot-foot fetches like a terrier! it's hilarious. and she will fetch this little mouse as many times as you are willing to throw it. she brings it back, drops it and flops down on top of it. it rocks. oh and when they got back fu showed me his new tattoo. he got a butthole tattooed right on his butthole. but he said it didn't hurt. guess he's got a pretty tough butthole.
