Stranger in a Strange Land - Robert Heinlein, again
it has been so long since i've read this book (noted on the cover as "The most popular Science Fiction book ever written!" hmm), that i had forgotten just about everything in it. i knew he was a Martian. that's about it ... so reading it again has been this wonderful and strange mixture of feelings, both familiar and foreign. it's somewhat like opening a box you find in the garage but you don't remember what it's in there and when the carboard flaps pull away you see that it's the box of things you brought home after your beloved grandma had passed away and you get the faintest whiff of the soap she always used and it overwhelms you with happiness and sadness all at the same time.
or maybe that's just me.
