today my husband feels that he has truly arrived as an adult member of american society. he went to court to sue somebody!! i'm tempted to tell you who, but i gotta consult my attorney before i start mouthing off. anyhoo, he did some freelance work for this graphic design company in OKC and they decided to try and screw him out of half of his money. i guess they assumed that he would just roll over and take it like a beeyotch. they were so wrong. they company didn't even show up at small claims court this morning. therefore, they foreit. we win. simple as that. we just take this paperwork in with their bank's information on it ... and the bank cuts us a check. sweet fancy moses. the justice system is finally working in my favor. bout time!

p.s. this is a big month for us ... besides having a baby and buying a car ... we're buying a house. and yes, we are insane.
